Getting a good scan

• Use even, front-facing light — avoid standing with a bright light or window behind you (the app warns you if it detects this).
• Hold the phone at arm's length so your face fills most of the guide frame.
• Keep the camera steady and in focus — the app checks distance, lighting, and focus live before you tap capture.
• If a scan comes back with a "Consider Retaking" notice, the photo was likely too dark, blurry, or your face was partially out of frame.

Using Studio (virtual try-on)

• Open Studio, then choose Live Try-On for a real-time preview, or take/upload a photo.
• Tap a category — lips, cheeks, eyes, brows, or foundation — then tap a shade to apply it.
• Save a session to keep it in History, or add a shade to your Wishlist to shop it later.

Account & sign-in

• You can create an account with email/password, or use Sign in with Apple.
• Face ID sign-in can be turned on after your first password sign-in, or anytime from Settings.
• Forgot your password? Use "Forgot Password?" on the sign-in screen — you'll get an email with a reset code.
• Don't want an account yet? Tap "Continue as Guest" to try scanning without signing up (limited to a couple of scans a day).

Wishlist

• Save any product from your scan results or a Studio shade to your Wishlist so you don't have to re-search for it.
• View and manage everything you've saved from Settings → My Wishlist, including when each item was added.

Your data

• Your scan photos and Studio sessions are private to your account and never used for advertising.
• You can permanently delete your account and all your data anytime from Settings → Purge Scan Data & Delete Account.
